Clark County Hearing Application
Audient Low Cost Digital Hearing Aid Program
Lions Club Mulitple District 19
MD-19 Mobile Screening Unit
Our primary mission revolves around Sight & Hearing disabilities. On a Local Level through the Clark County Lions Hearing Committee the Lions help hearing impaired citizens. Because of the desperate need for help with hearing loss the Clark County Lions Hearing Committee offers 3 Programs that provide very low cost hearing aids to low income individuals in our community. Every infant born in Clark County has their hearing screened because of a grant initiated by Lion Rex VonKrohn, who passed away in 2004 and Audiologist Nancy Bowen a member of Columbia Crest Lions. The Lions are a funding source of last resort and will help those who other wise could not enjoy the benefits of better hearing. Our committee is comprised of representatives from the 13 clubs in Clark County and the Woodland Lions Club and meets at the Washington State School for the Deaf at 7:00 PM on the first Tuesday of each month.
The application can be down loaded here. Hearing Assistance Application or picked up at Secretary Rick Giles office 8317 E Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA. Corner of Mill Plain & Lieser Rd, 2 lights west of Southwest Washington Medical Center.
